The first Saturday of May is dedicated to "Spring Cleaning" at Columbus Grove. On this date, an exception is made to the garage sale restrictions for anyone wishing to reduce clutter and rehome unneeded items. 

 

In addition, The Salvation Army will be collecting donations here at our community on May 3 between 9 AM and 1 PM. If you have any unwanted items, including clothing, shoes, kitchenware, furniture, books, and toys, please bring them over to the parking lot at Grove Pool (north side) for donation. Tax receipts will be provided upon drop-off for anyone wishing to write off charitable contributions.

 

The Salvation Army will sell the items in their Thrift Stores, and 100% of their profits are used to fund their rehabilitation facilities, which help people struggling with hardships, like homelessness and substance abuse, to secure housing, social assistance, and emotional support.
