WARNER CHANNEL AND BIKE TRAIL MAINTENANCE NOTICE
 
 
Dear Columbus Grove Resident:
 
The City of Irvine Public Works Department will be conducting maintenance improvements in the Warner Channel and Warner off-street bike trail.  City staff and City contracted staff will be performing the necessary activities consisting of slope stabilization and bike trail restoration. 
 
Every effort will be made to complete this essential work quickly and with as little inconvenience to your residence and community as possible. Your assistance and cooperation during this project will be greatly appreciated.
 
Location of the Scheduled Work:
 
The Warner Channel and Warner off-street bike trail are located between Warner Ave. and the Columbus Grove community, just NW of the Warner Avenue/Harvard Avenue intersection (see map).   In the interest of public safety, the channel and bike trail will be closed.  The Grove Park pathway, at the corner of Larkspur St. and Jasmine Place, will also be closed at the entry point to the bike trail.
 
Work Schedule:      Slope stabilization and bike trail restoration activities are scheduled to begin Wednesday, October 11, 2017 and are expected to be completed by November 6, 2017.
 
Work Hours:            Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
 
Access:                     Access to your homes via Harvard Ave. or Edinger Ave. will be maintained throughout the process. Off-street trail users can use the Warner Ave. on-street bike lane that parallels the off-street trail.
