Each year, the Association has an Annual Meeting of the Membership, where the primary purpose is to elect new members to the Board of Directors.
The Annual Meeting for 2026 is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Great Room Clubhouse. This year, there are two (2) seats up for election.
The deadline to submit a Candidacy Form in order to be included on the ballot was Monday, April 20, 2026. There are three (3) candidates for the two (2) vacant seats: Jeffrey Fuller, Matthew Loff, and Rajesh Sathiamurthy. The pre-ballot notice can be viewed here.
Ballots will mail on or by May 25, 2026 to each owner at their designated primary billing address on record. If you wish to update your billing address prior to ballots being mailed, please submit your request to sdavoodian@powerstonpm.com in advance.
The Association needs 25% of the unit owners to submit their ballots in order to obtain quorum for the Annual Meeting; without quorum, the Annual Meeting cannot be called to order and no election can be held. That means, in order for your vote to count, we need to receive at least 219 valid ballots from you and your neighbors. We cannot stress enough the importance of voting and letting your voice be heard. Please encourage your neighbors to do the same.
For those who wish to get more involved, but are not ready to commit to a position on the Board of Directors, we currently have open seats for Officers of the Corporation. The Officer of the Corporation role is fantastic for anyone interested in one day running for the Board of Directors or wanting to get more involved in the operations of the Association. Officers support Columbus Grove and Board of Directors by participating in the monthly meetings and providing valuable insight and a different perspective during discussions. The term of an Officer of the Corporation is one year, and an Officer can expect to spend 3-5 hours a month on average volunteering on behalf of the Association. Officers are appointed, not elected, so please contact Management if you wish to be considered. Most of the current sitting directors were once Officers of the Corporation, as it’s a great way to get familiar with the governance, operations, and maintenance of the Association.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Annual Meeting of the Membership, please contact Columbus Grove’s General Manager, Sabrina Davoodian, CCAM, CAFM, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, by emailing sdavoodian@powerstonepm.com or calling the Grove House at (949) 726-0720.
